This past week some agents from the C-Town had reports that flock might be going to far left of center. To investigate, they made a visit to the stationsway loft. Instead of finding Castro's autobiography, they found something more a bit more alarming, the life that exists while I am out of the loft...





However, this one was from the Northern Holland trip. It too, was taken standing on some "damp sand"..


Erk, I, and Erk's friend Matsa in front of the Rathaus in Hamburg, Germany. There was a 30 year old guy, on his birthday wearing a sign stating the fact, oh yeah, and he wasn't married. Therefore, he had to, by tradition, clean the front steps of the Rathaus, and attempt to get a virgin girl to kiss him. Fortunately for us, no kissing tooking place, but instead they had vodka on hand. All we had to do to get a shot, was to sing him happy birthday. Very nice intro to Hamburg! Oh, yeah, they also had candy to give away for a happy birthday song. They told us, that everyone to that point was choosing the sweets. Of course we show up, and we nearly drank the entire bottle the first round!!


Sometime around 0700 in Hamburg near the Fish Market on the Elbe. I can feel the siberian air pushing me backwards as I walk eastward to the metro station to find the train back to "home" and get out of the frigid dry air. The temp dropped gradually over 12 hours from 5 C to -5C . It was impressively cold.

Me, on a thursday night...

Ahhh, thursday night, what to do, clean the bathroom? umm, no.... think I am going out. I got in the mood earlier at work today. The reason being, we had a "Borrel" at work today for the New Year. A Borrel is like a gathering, or a drink, they say. They are nice, you eat, drink and network with colleagues. I mainly focus on the eating part. I love the "kaas broodjes" , butter and cheese sandwhiches. It would help if I spoke dutch though, could network a bit better!! Working on that one....


I am ok though...
